Ceramic sculpture, hand built, burnished, smoked with sawdust and hair, kinetic glass center. 22.5"X29"X6"

This is one of three pieces that are part of a group exhibition at the Yaniv Gallery in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

This piece is a collaboration with the awesome glass artist Randy Strong.

That's beautiful! I love how the hair patterns in the glaze reflect the nervous line-work of the glass sculpture. The two elements seem just made for each other!

i just love what the hair pattern do for this piece!... i wonder though. how bold jeff must be ;-) gorgeous piece the glass cntre looks real cool!

Thank you so much Esther, I am glad you like how it works here--Jeff always reminds me that making that effect is not a big deal, and it just happens to be an appropriate finish for his style :)

Haha, yeah it's a sensitive issue...but thanks to the hair extension boom: buying real hair is cheap and easy ;)
